Man assaulted in NailsworthPolice are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked and beaten up in Nailsworth during the early hours of Saturday September 23.The victim, a 27 year-old man from Nailsworth, had been in the town's Horsley Road at around 3am when he was attacked by a number of unknown males. The victim suffered minor facial injuries as a result of the assault and he was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment. Following the attack the offenders climbed into a burgundy coloured car, possibly a Mercedes or a Ford Mondeo, before driving off. They are described as white males in their 20s. They were wearing jeans and T-shirts. Anyone with information about the assault is asked to contact Gloucestershire police on 0845 090 1234, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting incident number 110 of September 23.
